Francesca Galliano - Work Detail: Triptych: Poppies by the Water, Firmly Rooted to the Land

Each panel of the triptych is an assemblage of carved wood, tooled copper, stones interwoven with copper wire & copper nails. Each measures 50" x 18" x 2.5" and may be purchased individually or together as shown. The application of several thin layers of transparent & translucent mixed media produced the final colors. Mixed media included: crushed pigments, silver, copper & marble, resins, acrylics, solvent dyes, mica, inks, waxes & lacquer.
