Francesca Galliano - Work Detail: Still Life with Callas and Ivy

Assemblage of carved fused wood-canvas composite on carved wood environment with brass & copper overlays. The application of over 20 thin layers of transparent & translucent mixed media produced the final colors. Mixed media included: crushed pigments & metals, resins, acrylics, solvent dyes, mica, inks, glass enamels, waxes & lacquer.
