Mixed Media Assemblages that I create using carving, metalworking, woodworking & mixed media coloring techniques. The carving may be on wood, stone or marble. I use three main metals: copper, brass & pewter. The mixed media coloring may include: metals in powder, wire, strip and bead form, dry pigments, acrylics, precious & semiprecious gems, stones, dyes, glass, waxes & lacquers. 

Mixed Media Assemblages where I have carved the focal image on a proprietary, fused wood-canvas panel over a wood structure. The color of these 3D "carved paintings" may include: powdered pigments & metals, acrylics, gems, dyes, glass, waxes and lacquers. Other techniques that I may include in finishing these assemblages include metalworking, woodwork, wirework & stone laying.
